Pu'ukohola Heiau Temple

I think we both slept pretty soundly. I got up about 6:30 am to enjoy the morning, my favorite time of day. I decided to finish up the previous day's journal entry.

We elected not to have any more large breakfast, wanting to save both the expense and the time.

We decided to get historic. We traveled north on Hwy 19, then turned onto 270, a highway that bends around the upper coast.

The first stop was at the temple of Pu'ukohola Heiau, the temple built by King Kamehameha.
